At Go Forest, we’ve spent the past five years planting purpose-driven forests with local partners like Sylva Nova. We’re proud to introduce the Guarantree Label: a third-party validated seal that sets a new benchmark for transparency and long-term ecological impact.
What is the Guarantree Label?
The Guarantree Label is Go Forest’s proprietary validation standard for forest restoration projects. Independently verified by Vinçotte (a KIWA company), it guarantees that our reforestation efforts meet rigorous environmental and management criteria, from year one to year thirty.
You can choose from two levels of commitment:
Verified survival,
first 5 years
Confirms that a diverse, healthy mix of trees has been successfully planted in the right location, and monitored for five years to ensure success.
Long-term sustainability,
30 years
Goes beyond planting. Validates ongoing forest management and ecological restoration, delivering ecosystem services like carbon capture, biodiversity, and water regulation for the next three decades.
You can always start with the Light green label and later choose to upgrade to a longer validation period under the Dark green label. It’s a flexible pathway that grows with your sustainability ambitions.
Each project is supported by detailed audits and transparent, traceable data.

Is there a link with carbon credits?
In Belgium and many European countries, carbon credit certification is still complex and expensive. The Guarantree Label offers a reliable, science-backed alternative to show impact, without the hurdles of traditional offset markets. Having the Guarantree label is not the same as carbon certificates. It proves that your trees are planted in the right way, and that long-term impact (health and resilience of the ecosystem) is being checked and validated.
And for those looking for certified credits, Go Forest also offers Gold Standard-certified carbon projects in Africa, allowing us to meet local and global sustainability goals.
