Recor Bedding Case
As a Belgian sleep specialist, Recor has focused on the ultimate sleeping comfort with a unique blend of technology and design for more than 70 years. Style and comfort are backed by technology and innovation. All the mattresses and box springs are developed and manufactured by hand in their atelier in Genk, where high-tech machines, such as laser-guided cutting machines and automatic through-hole machines, are paired with traditional craftsmanship.
One mattress sold equals one tree
Together with the launch of their “AURA” mattress, Recor Bedding planted 200 trees in Gomery, Belgium. It does not stop there. For each mattress sold, one tree will be planted in the Recor Bedding forest on the Gomery site.
The area of Gomery (6760 Virton, Belgium) was previously a monoculture of spruce trees, species, and management methods prone to bark beetle damage. The project exists to replace this monoculture with two hardwood species of oaks.
